Osi and the Jupiter (USA)

Hailing from the shadowy forests of Ohio amongst the echoes of old songs dwell the haunting hymns of Osi and the Jupiter. Sean Kratz offers his multiinstrumental talent in honor to Northern pagan traditions and in worshipful tribute to the peaceful finally of death. From its birth in 2015, the focus of the project has been on the spiritual connection between nature and the will of the old Gods – channeled through various representations of life, death and rebirth, this connection speaks through these musical creations, resonating as wordless tributes to these nebulous yet fundamental concepts.

Grift’s ambition is to evoke the mood some people are in great need of; the mood you can’t express through other mediums than music, images, and in some cases even through words. This kind of escapism is about breaking the chains of everyday given norms, and for a short moment becoming a stranger lost in a state of uncertain homelessness.

Inspiriert von der Natur sowie lokalen Sagen und Mythen baut die Band Gjoad aus Salzburg akustische Landschafen aus Ambientklängen, Dark Folk, Psychedelic, Doom und Post-Metal. Für den Support von "Osi and the Jupiter" werden Gjoad ein Ambient/Akustisches Set präsentieren. Das erste, großteils instrumentale Album "Samanōn" wurde 2020 noch als Trio produziert. Mittlerweile durch eine Sängerin und einen Bassisten verstärkt arbeitet die Band gerade an neuem Material, das 2023 aufgenommen und live präsentiert werden soll.
