steht für furiosen Thrash Metal aus Griechenland. Als Sänger und Songwriter Nick Melissourgos im Jahr 2001 die Band gründete, war er gerade mal 16 Jahre alt. Eine beachtliche Diskographie und 20 Jahre später begeistern die Thrash-Metal-Helden SUICIDAL ANGELS ihre treuen Fans nach wie vor mit ihren schockierenden Live-Acts. Als Opening Act verschiedener Tourneen für Bands wie Kreator oder Death Angels erlangte die Formation den wohlverdienten Ruhm in der Thrash Metal-Szene.

The Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg produced in 2010 a quartet willing to change all the things that made Thrash Metal irrelevant in the recent past, albeit standing in for the greatness of circle pits, virtuous musicianship and skull cracking groove: they go by the name of Fusion Bomb. Knighted by Dave Mustaine himself as direct support for the American Metal Gods Megadeth, the furious four-piece’s hunger for live shows expanded their stage and touring experience in the wake of bands like Tankard, Trivium, Krisiun or Blind Illusion. During their joint 2019 European tour, the latter technical Thrash Metal pioneers became a major musical influence to the band and thus paved the way for the upcoming release titled “Gelid Remains”. In 2022 they won the Wacken Metal Battle Luxemburg and therefore teared down the mighty Wacken Festival with their outstanding performance. Starting out as classic Thrashers, Fusion Bomb put out a proper ’86-like debut with their highly acclaimed “Concrete Jungle” in 2019. Constantly concerned with the evolution of their favorite genre, the band’s upcoming 2024 full-length is going to tie in with the more boundary-pushing and experimental features of 90s Thrash, that was never given the chance to fully develop due to the rapid surge of Grunge in that time. Thus finally paying true justice to their own band name, Fusion Bomb mix relentless Thrash riffing with influences reaching from 70s Disco music and Jazz-Fusion to Death Metal. So be prepared for the truly new face of Thrash Metal.
