Julijan Eric handles the guitar like a conversation partner, not an instrument: his solos flow, speak, scream, whisper — fully in the spirit of Hendrix. Perfection is secondary; expression is everything. Even when he plays the guitar with his teeth, every note stays full of soul. And yes, the amp? Built by a real Hendrix technician.

“Sometimes it’s hard to believe that someone can create the feeling, just through their presence, that you’re about to hear a Hendrix classic. That’s Julijan,” says drummer Zlatko Djogic.

Expect a journey through Hendrix’s rich repertoire: from the Experience to the Band of Gypsys and all the way to Woodstock — songs like Voodoo Chile, Fire, Spanish Castle Magic, Freedom or Machine Gun are reimagined, often in long, wild improvisations. No two concerts are the same — always surprising, always intense.

Midnight Lightnin’ is more than a tribute band. They use Hendrix’s songs as a springboard for experimentation and their own expressive force. Blues, rock ’n’ roll, improvisation — everything merges into an electrifying sound.
