All about the Event

BOMBARGO

Led by Nathan Thoen and his brother Anthony (guitar), alongside Spencer Chilliak (guitar), Sammy Lee Folkersen (bass) and Niall Cubbon (drums), Bombargo has earned a reputation as one of Canada’s most high-energy and electrifying live bands. Singalong anthems, layered harmonies and groove-heavy musicianship come together in a show that keeps the crowd dancing long after the final encore.

Bombargo’s rise accelerated in 2018 when Taylor Swift picked their single “Mr. No Good” for her playlist “Songs Taylor Loves” – alongside artists like Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar. That recognition led to features and coverage in Billboard, People, NME, CBC’s “Q” and many other outlets. It also made Bombargo the only independent band to be included on that playlist.

Success continued with their breakthrough single “Oxygen”, which reached the Canadian Hot AC Top 40 and helped introduce Bombargo to a nationwide audience. The band then played the Main Stage at Okeechobee Music Festival and joined Cory Wong and Karl Denson for the festival’s acclaimed Pow Wow Super Jam. They also made a cameo in the feature film “Bill & Ted Face the Music”.

In 2024 and 2025 alone, the band played more than 200 shows, performed at major festivals and renowned venues, and kept building their loyal fanbase through relentless touring.

In February 2026, Bombargo brought the “Disco Surf Rodeo Tour” to Europe for their most ambitious international run to date. The shows in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark were sold out. The tour also took the band to Italy, where they performed as part of Canada’s Olympic celebrations.

RUHMER

Somewhere between retro soul, modern rock and introspective pop, RUHMER finds a sound that feels familiar yet keeps surprising – somewhere between living room and outer space, between Beck-like irony, British attitude and the pathos of Paolo Nutini.

His music has drawn international attention and earned airplay on leading stations such as FM4, Radio Superfly, Radio 88.6, DLF Kultur, SRF Virus, Radio Eins Berlin, egoFM, RaSa and KanalK.

With more than 17,000 monthly Spotify listeners at times, playlist features in Fresh Finds GSA, Indie Brandneu and Alternative Austria, and nearly 60 live shows played, RUHMER has shown his growing reach.
