Alexander Veljanov is the unmistakable voice of Deine Lakaien. For almost four decades, they have shaped the national and international music scene in the tension field between avant-garde and dark wave.
Since 1998, Veljanov has also been pursuing solo paths, marked by a new, unmistakable sound. What remains is his poetic charm and the captivating aura of his voice, underscored by lyrics about love, devotion, and transience.
With his three very different studio albums, the frontman keeps showing that he cannot be pinned down musically, using this project as well as a playground for his voice and for musical expression outside the Deine Lakaien universe.

He is currently working with his band on a new album that is set to be released in 2026. Alongside new songs and a cross-section of the three solo albums, there will also be a few Deine Lakaien tracks in the set.

Hary Havoc is a resident of Peccatum Dulce, the Salzburg gothic scene get-together, and will shape the aftershow in keeping with this beautiful occasion in the wider realm of dark wave, avant-garde, and old school.
