With a unique and highly explosive live performance, tested and proven on hundreds of stages, NAFT is forging new paths in electroacoustic performance. Their vibrant energy, uncompromising rhythms, and pure rave spirit create an impressive live experience that can keep pace with any DJ set – a driving journey that lingers long after the last note.

NAFT was born in 2018 on the streets during the Gentse Feesten, but quickly evolved from a ‘guerilla’ street band into a fixture on national and international (festival) stages. The band transformed into a live (tech) house formation with four horn players and two drummers.

NAFT plays electronic music, but entirely live with acoustic instruments. The brass instruments are manipulated with digital and analog effects via effect pedals – a technique that once revolutionized the electric guitar and is now doing the same for brass instruments!

Belgium has been known for electronic music for decades, and NAFT helps carry this ‘Sound of Belgium’ legacy forward with a captivating live show.

This concept was developed by professional musicians such as Floris De Smet, Tom Heynssens, Robbe Latré, Niels Van Paemel, Geraard Buyck and Dimitri Defossé. They come from different musical backgrounds, but share a passion for brass music, production, electronics and beats. Over the past five years, NAFT has played almost 250 shows.
