The legendary Dutch pioneers of technical death metal, Pestilence, are gearing up to conquer the stages once again. Led by founder and mastermind Patrick Mameli, the band officially announces its highly anticipated “Entering the Portals Tour 2026.” For over three decades, Pestilence have been a defining force in the metal underground, seamlessly blending raw brutality with progressive jazz fusion elements. This 2026 tour promises a journey through the band’s groundbreaking history.

Although Leeds (UK) is not exactly known as an extraterrestrial hotspot, the city experienced a different kind of encounter when Xander Bradley (vocals/guitar) and Ryan Sheperson (drums) set out in 2015 to bring to life a project that embodied their shared passion for science fiction and heavy metal. With CRYPTIC SHIFT, which took shape as a crossover between the worlds of technical thrash / death metal and everything sci-fi, the two set out to expand their reach first across the UK, before soon venturing around the globe. After constant lineup changes, the pair eventually found more like-minded musicians in the British scene, brought John Riley (bass) on board and released Cryptic Shift’s debut EP, Beyond the Celestial Realms (2016). Joe Bradley (guitar) later joined as well, and Cryptic Shift set their sights on their first full-length debut album, Visitations from Enceladus (202).

Thus are a brand-new, battle-ready metal band from Aarhus, Denmark, challenging the conventions of the metal scene. With progressive riffs, complex rhythms and melancholic melodies, Thus deliver an original and modern take on the Scandinavian death metal sound. Thus are a fresh addition to the Danish metal scene and are made up of highly skilled musicians with experience from a wide range of bands such as Chronicle, Mother of All, Polars Collide, Withering Surface, Defacing God, Statement and Livløs (live). With their brand-new and ambitious EP “The Terminal Condition of Existence” and a string of live shows already under their belt, Thus are ready to kick open the doors to the international metal scene and bring their neck-breaking, captivating live show to stages around the world.

Introducing DVRK, a powerful fusion of deathcore, nu-metal and bass music elements. Founded in 2019 as a solo project, DVRK has grown into a dynamic ensemble made up of Peter Morgan on vocals, Bastien Deleule and Gérald Audiard on guitars, Fabien Letren on bass and Vincent Vidal on drums. Notable achievements include collaborations with artists such as Conquer Divide, Cove Reber, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and Hyro The Hero. DVRK are proud to have signed with Season Of Mist for their debut EP, marking a major milestone in their musical journey.
