All about the Event
What if the Ramones came from Austria and had an insatiable thirst for beer?
That’s exactly where TURBOBIER pick up the thread. When it comes to sweat-soaked Austro punk rock, there’s no way around the Vienna band. With unmistakable attitude, cutting guitars and plenty of turbo, the quartet around frontman Marco Pogo tears across Europe’s stages and makes one thing clear: no half measures here.
For ten years now, TURBOBIER have stood for uncompromising energy, Schmäh, a clear stance and a rhythm that would make even Swiss clockwork jealous: five albums in a decade, on average a new record every two years. Songs like „Insel muss Insel bleiben“, „King of Simmering“ or „Fuaßboiplotz“ have long since become anthems for a loyal fanbase that erupts in collective mayhem at every show. Their concerts are pure escalation - no T-shirt stays dry, no chorus goes unsung. The band has long made a name for itself far beyond Austria - with countless festival and club shows across Europe and three Amadeus Austrian Music Awards.
In 2026, the four Viennese return with fresh energy: on May 1, 2026 - just in time for Labour Day - the new studio album „Das Leben is ein Oaschloch“ will be released, the soundtrack for everyone who doesn’t always take life seriously, but celebrates it all the louder. Musically, it goes back to the roots - sometimes heavy as a Monday morning, sometimes light as the first beer after work. The album will be accompanied by the tour of the same name, „Das Leben is ein Oaschloch“ 2026, with which TURBOBIER will once again bring clubs and festivals to the boil.
