Transonic Science
Veterans of the German stoner rock underground, TRANSONIC SCIENCE have been shaping heavy music since 1997. Their blend of high-energy rock, heavy psych and gritty grunge textures sets them apart, carried by the unmistakable voice of Ergün Aktürk. From early cassette releases to the well-received Sunshine Baby Home (2001) and Mind Stripping Sun (2003), the band built a legacy through decades of raw, emotional music and extensive touring. After a long hiatus and the loss of bassist Gerald Kirsch, they returned stronger than ever. Their 2024 album Psychobulb marks a fiery new chapter: loud, honest, full of fuzz and soul.
Grey Czar
From their hometown of Salzburg, GREY CZAR deliver a compelling mix of heavy rock, stoner vibes and progressive atmospheres. With two guitars, keyboards, and multi-vocal harmonies, their sound balances melody and weight, shifting fluidly from powerful riffs to introspective passages. Since their debut LP in 2012, they’ve continued evolving with releases like The Men Who Harvest the Sea (2014) and the acclaimed Boondoggle (2018). In 2024, they unveil their most ambitious work to date: Euarthropodia, a conceptual journey exploring the cycle of decline and rebirth, self-recorded with fierce DIY spirit. Expect immersive storytelling and genre-defying heaviness.
Godzilla Was Too Drunk To Destroy Tokyo
Formed in Calice Ligure, Italy, GWTDTDT bring a wild explosion of heavy psych, fuzzed-out stoner rock and atomic madness. Featuring the ferocious vocals and “drakkar bass” of Sara De Luca, the octopus-like drumming of Nicola Viola, and Alessandro Camurati’s fuzz-drenched riffs, this trio delivers energy-packed live shows and total DIY attitude. With two albums released in 2023 (Atomic Spitfire and Evil Lord), they’ve toured across Europe and Japan, spreading their radioactive grooves everywhere from dive bars to desert festivals. Their third full-length album, packed with brand new sonic chaos, is out in early Autumn 2025. For fans of unhinged riffs, spaced-out jams and rock’n’roll that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
